Belfast International Airport 'New' Terminal
The last 10 years at Northern Ireland's largest airport has shown turbulent times as demand has fluctuated. Passenger traffic has grown to over 6 million passengers in 2018 for the first time in it's 60 year history. New routes and growing demand in the UK have significantly benefited the aviation sector, however there are currently no routes serving international markets, and that is our core business.
As part of our long-term business plan, Wallace Global propose developing a new terminal building, designed to purposely handle our wide-body fleet and attract new airlines to Northern Ireland. One of our key investment strategies is to develop a Canadian Pre-Clearance centre, to attract the International Canadian market to transit through Belfast.
North American Village
A strategic investment portfolio for Project Y to increase traffic per month is to begin designing a 'North American Village' (location yet to be finalised) . This major development will draw in new Grade A office accommodation and high-quality apartments to attract North American nationals to migrant to Belfast and Northern Ireland. The scheme would encourage Canadian companies to invest and operate business centres in the region, as an entry point to the UK and European markets. We aim to attract over 1000 new residents to Belfast through this development.
